Myofascial Release

What is Myofascial Release?

Myofascial Release is a gentle hands on approach that works with the body’s connective tissue to ease long held tension and support deep rest. Sessions are slow, unhurried, and guided by how your body responds rather than force or deep pressure. The intention is to create an environment where the body feels safe enough to soften and let go at its own pace.

This work may help support:
  • Relief from chronic tension or tightness
  • A body that has difficulty fully relaxing
  • Feeling wired but exhausted
  • Stress that feels held in the body
  • Improved ease of movement
  • A greater sense of calm and rest

A Unique Addition to Sessions

How Yoga Nidra Supports Regulation

At times, Yoga Nidra may be gently woven into a Myofascial Release session to support the body's ability to settle, rest, and integrate change.

This specialized approach is offered selectively and is not available as a standalone service. Sessions remain centered on Myofascial Release, with Yoga Nidra offered as an additional resource when it may help deepen relaxation, enhance body awareness, or support nervous system regulation.

This integrative approach may support:
  • Difficulty unwinding or resting deeply
  • Feeling tired but unable to relax
  • A tendency to remain in a heightened state of alertness
  • Developing greater awareness of bodily sensations
  • Integrating shifts experienced during sessions
  • Cultivating a greater sense of ease and safety within the body

As our work together develops, Yoga Nidra may occasionally be incorporated into sessions to support deeper relaxation, body awareness, and integration. This offering is available to established clients when it is felt to complement their treatment goals.
